Consum Català-Associació Catalana de Consumidors is an new organization which aims at watching over the linguistic rights of the citizens of Catalonia and promoting an ethical, responsible, sustainable and environmentally-friendly consume. It is made up of individual members and has the support of local-based cultural organizations promoting the Catalan language such as Ònmium Cultural, Plataforma per la Llengua and Coordinadora d’Associacions per la Llengua.

Consum Català-Associació Catalana de Consumidors és una nova organització que té com a objectiu vetllar pels drets lingüístics dels ciutadans de Catalunya i promoure un consum ètic, responsable, sostenible i respectuós amb el medi ambient. Està formada per socis a títol individual i té el suport d’Òmnium Cultural, la Plataforma per la Llengua i la Coordinadora d’Associacions per la Llengua.

Cymuned is a pressure group that campaigns for one of the most essential of human rights: the right of minorities to exist and to continue to exist. This is the basis of the campaigns for the Welsh-speaking minority of Wales. Cymuned’s work should be seen in terms of linguistic ecology. Linguistic preservation is a moral imperative in terms of the fundamental rights of those for whom endangered languages and cultures constitute a way, or ways, of life. Cymuned is working to win recognition of the Welsh-speaking communities and housing for local people. It also campaigns to bring quality employment to the communities and encourage newcomers to learn and use the Welsh language.

Cymuned és un grup de pressió que fa campanya a favor d’un dels drets humans més essencials: el dret de les minories a existir i a continuar existint. Aquesta és la base sobre la qual es fonamenten les campanyes per a la minoria gal·lesòfona. La tasca de Cymuned s’entén a la llum de l’ecologia lingüística, ja que per a Cymuned, la preservació lingüística és un imperatiu moral d’aquells per a qui les llengües i cultures amenaçades constitueixen un modus de vida. El grup treballa per aconseguir el ple reconeixement de les comunitats gal·lesòfones i l’accés a l’habitatge de les comunitats locals. Alhora, fa campanya per animar els nouvinguts a fer servir el gal·lès i per generar llocs de treball de qualitat en les comunitats de parla gal·lesa.

Llengua.org is a new website that has as its main objective the supplying of the linguistic resources in Catalan to those who need to develop internet materials and contents in this language. The project has been set up by the Fundació Observatori per a la Societat de la Informació de Catalunya (FOBSIC), with the support of the Catalan government. It offers links to linguistic resources in co-ordination with the Open Directory Project -an open directory maintained by volunteers from all over the world- and tools and services based on free software to design websites in Catalan.

Llengua.org és un nou portal que té com a objectiu principal posar a l’abast d’usuaris i usuàries els recursos necessaris en català per desenvolupar material i continguts d’internet. El projecte ha estat impulsat per la Fundació Observatori per a la Societat de la Informació de Catalunya (FOBSIC) i ha rebut el suport del Govern català. Ofereix un recull d’enllaços a recursos lingüístics coordinat amb l’Open Directory Project -un directori obert mantingut per voluntaris d’arreu del món- i eines i serveis de creació de pàgines web en català basades en el programari lliure.

Launched in August 2003, SaveGaelic.org is a living project that has been set up to help preserve what is left of the Scottish Gaelic language and to promote its use where possible to help this language survive. It has become a hub for the Gaelic community online and welcomes both Gaelic and non-Gaelic speakers to help. It offers links to learning resources, Gaelic dictionaries, spell checkers, an articles archive, etc. Although they welcome political initiatives that aim to promote the use of the Gaelic language, the project does not advocate or endorse any particular political party.

Posat en marxa l’agost de 2003, SaveGealic.org és un projecte que vol col·laborar a preservar el que ha quedat de la llengua gaèlica escocesa i a promoure’n l’ús. SaveGaelic ha esdevingut el centre de trobada de la comunitat gaèlica a la xarxa. Ofereix enllaços a materials d’aprenentatge, diccionaris, correctors informàtics de gaèlic, un arxiu d’articles, etc. Tot i que SaveGaelic es felicita per les iniciatives polítiques que tenen com a finalitat la promoció del gaèlic, no defensa ni dóna suport a cap partit polític en concret.

Linguamón-House of Languages is an organization set up by the Government of Catalonia with the aim of promoting the world’s languages as a vehicle for communication, civilization and dialogue, as a source of personal development, human creativity and heritage of mankind and as a right of individuals and of linguistic communities. It is working towards securing recognition for every language, and ensuring their coexistence by cooperating with specialists and organisations that share these objectives. As we live in a world that is connected by the Internet, we must not overlook the need for every language to be represented in the Information Society and the new technologies. Linguamón–House of Languages is a consortium involving the Government of Catalonia, the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia and the Universal Forum of Cultures Foundation.

Linguamón–Casa de les Llengües és un organisme creat pel Govern de la Generalitat de Catalunya que té com a objectiu la promoció de les llengües del món com a vehicle de comunicació, de civilització i de diàleg, font de desenvolupament personal, creativitat humana i patrimoni de la humanitat, i també com a dret de les persones i de les comunitats lingüístiques. Treballa perquè es reconegui el valor de cada llengua i facilitar la convivència, i coopera amb especialistes i organitzacions que comparteixen aquests objectius. Sense oblidar, en un món connectat a Internet, la necessitat que totes les llengües puguin ser presents en la societat de la informació i en les noves tecnologies.
