“1. Ziele
Im Rahmen der Europäischen Charta der Regional- oder Minderheitensprachen hat Hamburg mehrere Verpflichtungen ausgesprochen, die die Berücksichtigung der niederdeutschen Sprache und Literatur betreffen. Daher wird die niederdeutsche Sprache in Gesprächssituationen einbezogen und über ihren Gebrauch nachgedacht. Niederdeutsche Literatur wird Unterrichtsgegenstand im Arbeitsbereich „Lesen“ mit mindestens einem Gedicht oder einer kurzen Erzählung oder einem Lied in jedem Schuljahr.”
